A Top FDA Official Makes Stunning Admission About Initial COVID Vaccine Approval
Well that's very encouraging news!
We’re now into the third month of 2024, and COVID vaccines continue to be as relevant as they’ve ever been.
Initially sold as the cure to end the pandemic, The Single Most Important Thing you could do to protect yourself, your loved ones, and those around you, the COVID vaccines immediately failed to live up to pre-release billing. Then the goalposts started moving.
Boosters would top up waning protection from the two dose vaccination series, ensuring that those who received them would be less likely to get infected. That quickly proved to be false as the winter-Omicron 2021-2022 surge obliterated case records. Then further boosters would ensure that any future waves or surges could be avoided.
That too proved to be false thanks to exceptionally low uptake across the country, which did not lead to massive case or hospitalization growth. But hey, at least there’s also an increased risk of side effects that had previously been downplayed or dismissed as an “anti-vaxx conspiracy theory.”
Now the CDC’s vaccine advisory committee has approved yet another vaccination dose for the spring, meaning that if one were to receive all the recommended doses, that number would be up to nine, yet none of them protects against infection or transmission. It’s remarkable that many have barely been studied.
And importantly, a little noticed piece of congressional testimony during a recent hearing made yet another concerning revelation about the early days of the COVID vaccines.
