Chipping away w/RFK (Jr.). So many people want him to to move faster & harder, but he's being strategic & working on building coalitions & removing bad actors in these departments. Remember that ~1/2 of all Americans still think that our COVID response was OK.

Excellent article, Ian! And very timely too, since we have another article for you to debunk:

https://academic.oup.com/eurheartj/advance-article/doi/10.1093/eurheartj/ehaf430/8236450?login=false

This recent one claims that COVID infections cause "accelerated vascular aging", particularly in women (but interestingly not in men, where it seemed to be null), while the "vaccines" supposedly reduce this effect, particularly in women (but again, not in men). The lamestream media seems to be all over it.

My take on this? The effect size was pretty modest, and small enough to be explained away by 1) the "healthy vaccinee effect" and any other selection bias in general, 2) survivorship bias, which also explains the gender difference as well (more men died than women), and 3) residual or unmeasured confounding. Also, it only included people recruited from September 2020 through February 2022, and was very heavy on earlier data with the earlier strains when few people were vaccinated. And Sweden was one of the countries that was excluded from this international study.

I would love for you to write an article of your own debunking, deboning, slicing, dicing, and julienning it like you did with other scary and sketchy studies.

Thank you in advance 😊
