Francis Collins Claims That Anthony Fauci Saved 'Tens Of Millions Of Lives'

And much more than that

Francis Collins is at it again.

You may recall that it was Collins himself, the former director of the National Institutes of Health, who completely mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic. As one of the nation's ostensible "experts," his role before and during COVID should have been to remain calm, follow pre-pandemic planning and guidance, and follow the actual science.

Instead, Collins, like so many other "experts," decidedly became a politician. He abandoned any pretense of rationality and common sense by choosing to go along with the herd, demanding that the public and outside media acquiesce to his beliefs, without the distraction of being confronted with dissenting views.

There's no better example of this than the manner with which he treated Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and several other highly qualified epidemiologists after the Great Barrington Declaration was published.

Collins emailed his friend and ally Dr. Anthony Fauci suggesting together they should respond with a "quick and devastating published takedown" of Bhattacharya's suggestions. As was so often the case, he deliberately intertwined science with politics. He would often embrace misguided assumptions while refusing to consider new evidence.

And now he's back, demonstrating once again that he's learned absolutely nothing.
