Masks Are Useless In The Real World, Massive New Study Confirms
Yet another nail in the pro-mask coffin
It was a truth universally acknowledged pre-2020 that masks didn’t prevent the spread of respiratory viruses.
That truth was confirmed repeatedly in randomized controlled studies, summarized in journal articles, and used to inform pandemic planning documents from health agencies like the CDC, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Kingdom’s Health Services Agency.
But as most of us are completely aware of by now, that carefully constructed planning was suddenly tossed aside in favor of wishful thinking, laboratory guesswork, and “we have to do something” panic.
Despite protestations by the CDC, politically aligned “experts” in the public health community, and their allies in the media, since 2020 there has not been one well conducted, high quality study to show that masks are effective in preventing transmission of respiratory viruses.
There has, however, been a number of studies conducted showing that they aren’t, as well as those verifying that the cost of the mask mandates imposed on the public, without underlying evidentiary basis, had an enormous cost.
Now there’s yet another example of how scientists, doctors, public health officials, the media and the Twitter “expert” class abandoned all pretense of following the science in favor of following The Science™. And it may be one of the most damning condemnations of their policymaking yet.
