Politicians Can’t Stop Lying About Masks
The more discredited masks get, the more they lie about them
One of the most indisputable results of COVID-19 has been the thorough destruction of trust in the “so-called” experts and politicians.
Not that politicians have ever deserved or received an excessive amount of trust, but whatever shreds remained have been completely demolished by their disgraceful conduct and outright falsehoods during the pandemic.
Politicians like Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Boris Johnson and Anthony Fauci have repeatedly spread purposeful misinformation in order to ensure compliance with their mandates and requirements.
The replacement for the disgraced former governor of New York though, is one of the worst offenders.
Governor Hochul exemplifies so much of what’s wrong with politicians, the public health class, and our national and international conversations about COVID policy.
Her most recent lie, the latest in a long line of falsehoods helpfully spread by the public health officials in her state, reached a new low in immediately disproven disinformation— so much so that even one “mainstream” journalist called it into question.
But since the rest of the media remains dedicating to reporting disinformation that emanates from people who share the correct set of opinions that they support, it once again falls to outsiders to highlight the impossibility and disgraceful advocacy of the political class and their compatriots in the media.
The data makes a clear and unequivocal case that the statements put out by one of the most powerful people in the country are demonstrably false — and below is the “fact check” the media refuses to do.
