Ready For The Return Of Masks? Because The Media Certainly Is
How are we back to the same conversations all over again?
Starting in 2020, nearly the entire global population ran an experiment on whether or not masks and other expert-promoted policies would be effective in stopping the spread of a virus.
The results of the experiment are in, and they are a resounding, comprehensive, conclusive no. Masks don't work. They don't stop the spread of respiratory viruses; they don't even slow the spread of viruses. There's not even any evidence suggesting that they're effective when worn by medical professionals who are trained to use them.
High Quality Masks Don't Work, No Matter Who Wears Them
The debate over masks should have been settled before the mandates ever started. Decades of evidence had consistently shown that masks are completely ineffective at slowing the spread of respiratory viruses. But the CDC, Dr. Fauci and other public health experts rejected the evidence in favor of blind hope, desperately searching for ways to “control” the pandemic.
There's no evidence that they prevent infections during operations when worn by surgeons. Even attempts to discredit the overwhelming evidence on masks have failed.
The Media Tried To Undermine A Study Saying Masks Don't Work...And Failed
If there’s one consistent feature of the media’s coverage of masks and the evidence on universal masking, it’s a stubborn refusal to accept inconvenient truths. Because the “experts” who changed the course of global pandemic response forever by abandoning science in April 2020 shared their political views, the media steadfastly has ignored or downplayed contradictory evidence, except for when the evidence was so overwhelming, comprehensive, and damning for even them to ignore.
All this is to say, given the evidence back and lack of supporting data, tno matter what the case may be with viruses or future pandemics, it's abundantly clear that masks can not reasonably be made part of our response or strategy. Which is exactly why the media is already pushing to bring them back.
