School Masking is Completely Unsupported by the Data

There is no benefit to masking children

I wanted to re-post an article written by me and Michael Betrus quickly covering the latest macro level data on masking in schools.

Unfortunately, it’s incredibly hard to access cases by age group in many states, but the data below highlights a number of key points that are important in assessing the unquestionable failure of masking in schools.

Of all of the inhumane, absurd policies adopted by The Experts™ and incompetent, terrified local bureaucrats, masking children is one of the most indefensible.

Masking children is completely unsupported by science, reason, data or logic, so of course it’s supported by teacher’s unions and their devastatingly idiotic leader, Randi Weingarten.

One of the most important methods that these political activists use to justify the continuing insanity of masking children is ignorance — they depend on parents and media outlets remaining unaware that tens of millions of children are not required to wear masks all across the United States. And that there’s been zero negative consequences whatsoever in those areas.

This piece attempts to punch a hole in this purposeful neglect on the part of the media and The Experts™ and provide some data for parents attempting to push back against local school boards and council members. The level of misinformation at these meetings is remarkable, and hopefully this piece and many others can be used to push back against incompetence and ignorance.
