Well, look what’s back in the news these days: Natural Immunity.

This is thanks in some small but significant part to Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic, you might remember, was widely criticized by sports media outlets, experts, public health authorities, late night tv, and the entire country of Australia, for refusing to take a COVID vaccine.

As a young, athletic, healthy person in extremely good physical condition, COVID was a virtual non-issue for him. And for millions, more likely tens of millions of people he represented. Djokovic also repeatedly explained that he’d already tested positive for COVID, meaning he had natural immunity from a previous infection.

He would be promptly ignored, vilified, and demonized. He then became the national enemy of Australia overnight. He was criticized, and treated like a second class citizen. All because he said he was healthy, had natural immunity, and didn’t need a COVID vaccine.

He was right. And despite what his critics said, research proved it almost immediately.
