When discussing vaccine mandates, it’s not difficult to generalize the devastation that such policies have caused to society.

The hidden cost of unnecessarily ostracizing huge numbers of people has been tremendous, yet is virtually ignored.

Beyond the now generally ended requirements for entering businesses, new employment, exclusion from events and family gatherings, there unfortunately are continuing consequences to mandates.

I was recently given the opportunity to speak with one of the victims of vaccine mandates, as well as with Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who discussed the motivations behind these policies, their human cost, and what he’s doing to ensure it never happens again.

I thought it was worth sharing the conversation to highlight the individual consequences of government imposed COVID restrictions.

By bringing Lieutenant Levi Beaird to President Biden’s State of the Union address, Senator Cruz made a forceful statement to the nation as Lt. Beaird is one of the thousands of military service members who have been affected by the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates.

Despite overwhelming evidence that the vaccines do not prevent transmission or infection, this administration has enforced, and continues to support, requirements that coerce individuals to comply with indefensible policies.

One such example is the requirement for international travelers to show proof of vaccination to enter the country, which has been repeatedly extended despite data disproving its necessity.
