Her stance on the vaccine passport is disturbing. I don't know how anyone, especially after the manipulation of facts during covid, could support something that opens the door to more gov abuse. I don't personally think the vax pass was ever about controlling covid, at least not from an authoritarian perspective. If we had a virus that was so deadly that she could justify one the world would be in a doomsday scenario and a vax pass would be no match for armed and panicked people. To justify one, even in the hypothetical, is very dangerous.

Good interview. I’m in New Zealand and passports/mandates are now everywhere. Court cases are not successful so far. Its ironic as now more than ever we know they don’t work….we are still contact tracing and all published locations of interest require v passports! Yet no questions appear in media about these measures. In fact the few businesses that publicly stand up against it are being closed down with ridiculous media commentary. Everyone over 12 is being encouraged to take a booster. Having worked on the inside through this…I strongly believe modelling (ok and ego/the ability of beaucrats to not suffer the consequences of these policies eg they can wfh) is the cause of govt overreactions (we've paid tens of millions) and was highly flawed, suspect and always wrong. I’d love if you could look into modelling!

That's a great suggestion - modeling has been a complete disaster

Great podcast -- re: why does the press corps do what it's doing? Here you go. It's not that hard to understand. But it IS weird. We've got problems in The Matrix. https://empathy.guru/2021/02/27/the-predictable-memetic-collapse-of-contemporary-journalism/
