Always interesting to hear perspective from other countries. It's something that too many countries simply tried to ignore anywhere but their own country in terms of the data on CoVid.
Dr. Sidley touched on the big question of "what explains all this?" He walks through believing it at first to be panic and incompetence, then actual malice. I have similar struggles with the limits of Hanlon's Razor. But I have come to believe these causes are not at all mutually exclusive. It only takes a few malicious actors *and* the armies of panicked/incompetent followers at their disposal. It takes Klaus Schwab AND Tony Fauci AND Bob Local-Health-Department-Director.
